Vibrating Platform Preform Shaking System is a machine with which
is possible ot dispense uniformly preforms into the octabins, increasing
number of pieces contents.
By vibrating platform P.S.S. it’s possible:
- to increase from 3 to 6% preform numbers to content
- to decrease transport costs
- to decrease octabin numbers to consume
Tanks to our technology used, Vibrating Platform P.S.S. is built without
vibrators, so in the working area there aren’t sound emissions, trublesome
and dangerous for the security in the working zone.
Technical features of P.S.S. Preform Shaking System

- Weight: 230 Kg.
- Structure: painted steel and aluminium.
- Base size: 1300 x 1160.
- Base material: reinforced anti-slip aluminium.
- Maximum capacity of the platform: 400 Kg.
- Movement: permanent lubrication engine.
- Sliding guide: no maintenance dry technopolymer for dusty environment.
- Vibration modality: frequency and amplitude adjustable oscillation.
- Power supply: three.phase 400V directly from the control panel.
- Power: 600W.
The system is built to use two vibrating platforms type PSS driven by only one control panel.
The platforms are placed on the sides of the conveyer belt used for performs dumping and the storage bin is placed on them.
The PLC based control system drives the two platforms alternately, according to the dumping direction of the conveyer belt.
Working parameters of the two platforms are set by means of a cursor keyboard and a display. Such parameters are:
- Number of total perform moulds for each bin.
- Time length of vibrating pulse (in seconds).
- Interval between vibrating pulses (in number of cycles).
All the control and alarm warning lights related to the platforms, the commands for manual operation and the control for vibration intensity are placed on the control panel.
It is possible to set the amplitude of the vibration too mechanically acting on the adjusting screw located on the PSS.
