The tracking painting system enables to work the piece while it is moved
by the transport chain of the painting plant. To follow the piece and
work it during the transport, IRIDE has a shift truck capable, through
a sensor check system, to faithfully follow the position of the piece
within the working area. The IRIDE tracking system adjusts the working
speed to the speed of the transport chain.
During the teaching phase the shift of the tracking truck is carried
out automatically by the check system enabling the operator to focus
on the execution of the movements necessary to paint the piece.
During the working cycle the elements rotate of 90 degrees for four
times, to enable the arm to paint all the parts wanted.
The "chain tracking" IRIDE Robot is also available in the Dual version.
In this case the painting area is made up of two IRIDE unities places
so that they can work synchronically and the pieces on the chain pass
along the painting area without rotating because each robot paints two
sides. This system enables to increase significantly the number of
pieces/hours worked.
